Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up equipment
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and basic tasks
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervisor guidance
- Maintain site cleanliness and comply with OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from site leads
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and physical labor in all weather
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid photo ID
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Tampa metro
- Basic tool knowledge preferred but not required
- Physical stamina to stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Willingness to work flexible hours (early start times common)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- Ability to work collaboratively in team environments
