Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, demolition, and earthmoving tasks per blueprints
- Operate heavy machinery (bobcats, excavators) with proper certifications
- Mix, pour, and finish concrete structures and foundations
- Install scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily equipment checks
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, electricians) with material preparation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable transportation to job sites across DC metro area
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for material calculations and measurements
