Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Prepare sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting forms.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, with daily tasks.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Follow blueprints and instructions from project supervisors.
- Perform physical labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
