Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in clearing, digging, and preparing construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment with precision and care.
- Equipment Support: Operate and maintain basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision.
- Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean job site and adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Trade Assistance: Provide hands-on support to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers.
- Site Inspection: Help identify potential hazards and report issues to site supervisors immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required for site access.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
