Responsibilities
- Site Assistance: Perform general labor duties including digging, shoveling, and moving materials to and from job sites.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain basic construction equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and power tools under supervision.
- Material Handling: Load and unload building materials, ensuring proper organization and safety protocols are followed.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by removing debris and waste regularly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company guidelines to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Support Duties: Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians) with tasks to ensure project timelines are met.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) for long periods in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous construction or general labor experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime as required.
- Valid ID: Must possess a valid driver's license or state ID and be authorized to work in the United States.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members.
