Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including digging, hauling, and loading materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, HVAC) with daily site operations.
- Ensure the construction site remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Unload delivery trucks and distribute materials to work stations.
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and waste management.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Basic understanding of construction site safety is highly preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the Chicago, IL location.
- Physically fit and ready to work hard on a fast-paced job site.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
