Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks on construction sites, including digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various installation and assembly tasks.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations (OSHA).
- Load and unload materials from trucks and distribute them to work areas.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and job site instructions.
- Monitor site conditions and report any safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required.
