Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Machinery Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision to aid in building processes.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Trade Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) by providing necessary labor and tools.
- Cleanliness: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute to various job sites.
- Experience: Prior experience in construction labor or general labor is preferred but not required for qualified candidates.
- Safety Mindset: Knowledge of basic construction safety practices and willingness to wear required PPE.
- Reliability: Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
