Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, with various on-site tasks.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from job sites.
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools in accordance with safety protocols.
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, grading, and ensuring proper drainage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Perform basic measurements and cut materials to specified dimensions.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
- Basic understanding of construction safety regulations and practices.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
