Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled tradesmen with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment safely under supervision
- Perform general cleanup and debris removal at construction sites
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Load/unload materials and transport equipment as needed
- Assist in erecting temporary structures and scaffolding
- Maintain organized tool storage and inventory management
Qualifications
- Must be physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds and standing for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Ability to work in all weather conditions with flexible scheduling
- Basic understanding of construction site safety standards
- Must provide own basic work boots (steel-toe required)
- Willingness to complete paid safety training program
