Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling with precision
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with project tasks
- Maintain clean, organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and follow verbal/written instructions
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and sustained physical labor
- Report safety hazards and equipment malfunctions immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience required
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- Basic math skills for measurement calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites within KC metro
- Must provide own basic hand tools (hammer, tape measure, etc.)
