Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks on active construction sites, including digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various job duties.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in strict compliance with OSHA standards.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and organize job sites for efficiency.
- Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and pressure washers.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from site supervisors and foremen.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school experience is a plus.
