Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up staging areas.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from the site.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy machinery under the direct supervision of a foreman.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Support: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various on-site tasks and general labor duties.
- Quality Control: Ensure all work meets project specifications and quality requirements.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Documentation: Valid Driver's License and ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work full-time hours including weekends if necessary.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Experience: Previous construction or general labor experience is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Tools: Willingness to provide personal steel-toed boots and safety glasses (company provides hard hats and vests).
