Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Assist skilled tradespeople with installation of structural components
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site cleanliness
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Transport materials via forklifts or manual methods as needed
- Complete daily progress reports and time documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly and perform strenuous physical labor
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Colorado Springs
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat/cold)
- Basic math skills for material calculations
