Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and material handling on construction sites
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete, framing, and finishing tasks
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and comply with OSHA standards
- Load/unload materials and operate light machinery as needed
- Follow blueprints and site supervisor instructions precisely
- Report safety hazards and maintain incident-free records
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience required
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Reliable transportation to job sites in DC metro area
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
