Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using hand tools, forklifts, or heavy machinery as required.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment such as jackhammers, concrete mixers, and power saws under supervision.
- Quality Control: Ensure all work meets project specifications and safety standards.
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
- Assist Trades: Support carpenters, electricians, and plumbers with various tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Reliability: Punctual, hardworking, and willing to work in various weather conditions.
- Safety Conscious: Familiarity with OSHA safety standards is a plus.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
