Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment on-site.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by digging trenches, clearing debris, and leveling ground.
- Equipment Assistance: Operate or assist in the operation of basic construction equipment, including jackhammers, generators, and forklifts.
- Cleanup & Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by sweeping, raking, and removing waste.
- Trade Support: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various manual tasks.
- Measurement: Measure and cut materials according to blueprints or supervisor instructions.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy loads (up to 50+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work a full-time schedule including weekends if required.
- Communication: Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Tools: Basic familiarity with hand and power tools is a strong plus.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
