Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing, digging, and leveling the area.
- Machinery Operation: Operate heavy machinery and equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, and jackhammers under supervision.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack construction materials, ensuring proper organization and safety.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Trade Support: Support skilled tradespeople by performing necessary tasks to facilitate project completion efficiently.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction or labor experience is preferred but not mandatory (we provide training).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- Safety Mindset: Strong commitment to safety and following instructions.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends if necessary.
