Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and project execution.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site efficiently.
- Prepare and clean job sites, ensuring debris removal and proper site organization.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials (wood, concrete, etc.) according to blueprints and specifications.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and perform basic equipment maintenance.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and shoveling as needed for project milestones.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards and site etiquette.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and flexible schedule.
- Experience with hand and power tools is a plus but not required.
