Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operations of construction sites, including site preparation and cleanup.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding, barricades, and temporary structures.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a secure work environment.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under supervision.
- Perform minor digging, trenching, and leveling tasks as directed by foremen.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors on-site.
Qualifications
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to learn and follow verbal and written instructions.
