Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation, including demolition, debris removal, and grading.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools under supervision, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Assistance: Support electricians, carpenters, and plumbers with various tasks as needed.
- Blueprints: Read and interpret basic blueprints and site plans to understand project requirements.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized job site to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction experience is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are required.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing on concrete.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Communication: Strong ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
