Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation under supervision
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and framing support
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA safety protocols
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople to support project timelines
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and heights
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Sacramento metro area
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
