Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Perform physical labor including excavation, concrete pouring, and debris removal
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA safety standards
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently
- Assist with scaffolding setup and basic framing tasks
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Maricopa County
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Must possess or obtain OSHA 10-hour construction certification
