Responsibilities
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks including material handling, digging, and basic site preparation.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site efficiently and safely.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized job site by sweeping, cleaning up debris, and ensuring a hazard-free environment.
- Equipment Support: Operate hand tools and power tools under supervision to complete assigned tasks.
- Measurements: Help measure, cut, and fit materials as directed by foremen or supervisors.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs).
- Willingness to Learn: Strong desire to learn construction skills and work in a team-oriented environment.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are preferred.
- Reliability: Punctual and consistent attendance is mandatory.
