Responsibilities
- Assist project managers and skilled tradespeople with daily tasks on the construction site.
- Load, unload, and stack materials (lumber, bricks, drywall) efficiently.
- Perform site preparation, including digging, cleaning, and debris removal.
- Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and jackhammers under supervision.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials for installation as directed.
- Perform physical labor that may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Physically fit with the stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring lengths and quantities.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols strictly.
- No prior construction experience necessary; on-the-job training provided.
