Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Materials: Safely handle and transport lumber, concrete, tools, and other materials to and from the job site.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding under supervision.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic hand tools and power tools (drills, saws, levels) to support the project team.
- Quality Control: Ensure all materials are laid correctly and adhere to blueprints and safety standards.
- Cleanup & Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including daily cleanup of tools and site debris.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience is accepted.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- License: Valid Driverās License and clean driving record are required.
- Experience: No prior construction experience necessary; however, experience in landscaping, warehousing, or general labor is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time, including weekends and overtime as project demands require.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly and communicate effectively with team members.
