Responsibilities
- Site Maintenance: Prepare and clean construction sites, ensuring debris removal and proper organization.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials safely using forklifts, dollies, and hand trucks.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians) with various tasks as directed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate power tools, drills, and basic construction machinery under supervision.
- Measurements: Assist in measuring and cutting materials to required specifications.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA regulations and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Safety Mindset: Must be safety-conscious and willing to follow all safety protocols.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and hardworking attitude.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
- Entry Level Friendly: No prior construction experience required; on-the-job training provided.
