Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Load, unload, and stack building materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradesmen (electricians, carpenters, plumbers) with basic tasks and setups.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools and hand tools safely under supervision.
- Cleaning & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized job site; ensure all safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Measurements: Accurately measure and cut materials as directed by supervisors.
- Heavy Lifting: Move heavy items and debris as required by project needs.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Attitude: A positive, 'can-do' attitude and eagerness to learn new skills.
- Communication: Basic ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are mandatory.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
