Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clearing, digging, and preparing construction sites for foundation and framing.
- Material Handling: Loading, unloading, and transporting building materials to and from the site.
- Assisting Trades: Providing support to carpenters, electricians, and plumbers as needed.
- Cleaning: Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
- Concrete Work: Mixing and pouring concrete for sidewalks and foundations under supervision.
- Tool Usage: Operating hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Safety Compliance: Adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and site protocols.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy manual labor for 8+ hours a day, including standing, bending, and lifting.
- Work Ethic: Motivated, reliable, and eager to learn new skills in the construction industry.
- License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Attire: Willingness to wear steel-toed boots and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Team Player: Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work overtime and weekends as project demands require.
