Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in the preparation of construction sites, including clearing, grading, and setting up temporary work areas.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute building materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites efficiently and safely.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers, concrete mixers).
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by removing debris and adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) by performing necessary manual labor tasks.
- Quality Control: Help ensure all work meets project specifications and quality control guidelines.
Qualifications
- Entry Level Open: No prior construction experience required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including standing, walking, lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and working in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and committed to safety protocols at all times.
- Communication: Basic English skills required to understand instructions and communicate effectively with the crew.
- Availability: Willingness to work full-time hours, including potential overtime and weekends on project schedules.
