Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with daily construction tasks.
- Operate and maintain basic construction tools and heavy machinery under supervision.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Load and unload construction materials, ensuring inventory accuracy and safety.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure job site.
- Perform general cleanup and site maintenance to ensure a professional work environment.
- Read and understand basic blueprints and work orders.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (rain, heat, cold).
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well within a team.
- No prior construction experience is necessary; we provide the training.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
