Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and operations.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely under direct supervision.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform basic measurements, cuts, and site preparation as directed.
- Keep work areas clean and organized at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
