Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily operations and tasks.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, setting up staging areas, and ensuring a clean work environment.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under direct supervision.
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a secure workplace for all.
- Measure, cut, and handle materials as directed by project supervisors.
- Perform general site cleanup and maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and hold heavy materials weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills to understand instructions and safety data sheets.
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions (extreme heat, cold, rain).
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
