Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and prepare construction materials for the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with basic tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and correctly.
- Transport materials to and from the site as directed.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from foremen and site supervisors.
- Perform physical labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation (required).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
