Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Support Trades: Provide direct support to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, by fetching tools and materials as needed.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate basic construction equipment and machinery, such as concrete mixers, saws, and generators.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site by sweeping, digging trenches, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Quality Control: Assist in basic measurements and inspections to ensure work meets project specifications.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit and able to perform heavy labor for extended periods, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Entry Level Friendly: No prior experience is required; we provide on-the-job training for motivated individuals.
- Attention to Safety: Must adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
