Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily construction tasks and site preparation.
- Perform manual labor duties including digging, hauling, lifting materials, and operating basic construction equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Unload and organize materials and supplies from delivery trucks.
- Assist in the installation of building components, fixtures, and structures.
- Communicate effectively with foremen and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply.
- Must be physically fit and able to perform strenuous labor for extended periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and material estimation.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
