Responsibilities
- Site Support: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and material handling.
- Material Management: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment on site.
- Site Preparation: Clean work areas, remove debris, and prepare sites for construction activities.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools (saws, drills, levels) under supervision after training.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
- General Labor: Perform digging, lifting, and carrying tasks as directed by the site supervisor.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Entry Level: No prior construction experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work well within a team structure.
- Communication: Basic ability to read and understand instructions; effective verbal communication skills.
- Documentation: Must be able to pass a background check and provide valid identification.
- Attitude: A strong desire to learn and grow within the skilled trades industry.
