Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling the ground for new structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport heavy construction materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from the work area.
- Trade Support: Provide general support to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Operational Assistance: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision.
- Handyman Tasks: Perform miscellaneous tasks such as painting, sweeping, and cleaning as required.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable work history and a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are preferred.
- Attendance: Must be punctual and willing to work full-time hours.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred (not strictly required for entry-level).
