Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials (lumber, concrete, drywall, tools) to and from job sites.
- Site Preparation: Assist with site preparation, including digging, leveling, and clearing debris.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe by following all OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Trade Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, painters) with various tasks as directed by the supervisor.
- Measurement & Layout: Help with basic measurements and layout tasks using tape measures and levels.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are preferred.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking on uneven terrain.
- Math Skills: Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Work Ethic: Strong desire to learn and work as part of a team.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
