Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks on construction sites, including loading, unloading, and transporting materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) with daily operations.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards (safety-first culture).
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints or work orders.
- Dig, grade, and prepare sites for foundation work.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required for entry-level positions.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and standing for long periods.
- Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
