The Role
As a Construction Laborer, you will support various tradespeople on job sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to enter the construction industry or for experienced workers seeking a stable, well-paying job.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, hauling, and lifting materials to support construction projects.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under supervision.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with tasks as assigned.
- Ensure the job site is clean, organized, and free of hazards in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Read and interpret basic site instructions and blueprints when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Must have reliable transportation to job sites.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
