Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials using hand trucks, forklifts, or dollies.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and material prep.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under strict supervision.
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting forms.
- Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently.
- Perform minor maintenance and repairs on equipment and structures as directed.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including standing, walking, and lifting.
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work at various heights.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials accurately.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Valid Driverβs License preferred but not required.
