Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic tools (hammers, shovels, saws) safely and efficiently
- Clean and maintain job sites to meet safety standards
- Load/un construction materials and equipment
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions accurately
- Participate in daily team briefings and safety meetings
- Support demolition and excavation activities as needed
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols strictly
- Reliable transportation to job sites in Portland PA area
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- No prior experience required – training provided
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check
