Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and light equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled tradespeople with installation, demolition, and finishing work
- Maintain job site cleanliness, organization, and compliance with OSHA standards
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Participate in daily safety briefings and hazard prevention protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or related field experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, materials, and safety procedures
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
