Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other skilled trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery (with proper certification)
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Perform demolition, excavation, and concrete finishing tasks
- Transport materials and equipment safely
- Report maintenance needs for tools and equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction or labor experience required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10/30 certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Pass background check and drug screening
