Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery safely (excavators, bulldozers, forklifts) with proper certifications
- Assist carpenters, masons, and electricians with material staging and tool management
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work zones
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure alignment with project specifications
- Perform finish work including concrete pouring, scaffolding assembly, and debris removal
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10/30 certification and state-specific machinery licenses
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong understanding of construction materials and methods
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
