Responsibilities
- Assist in site preparation, excavation, and material handling using heavy machinery and hand tools
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions to ensure accurate construction implementation
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment by adhering to OSHA standards
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and construction equipment safely
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople on concrete, framing, and finishing tasks
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
- Participate in daily site briefings and project updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
