Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy equipment safely (e.g., jackhammers, saws, drills)
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with material preparation
- Complete daily equipment inspection and maintenance reports
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience preferred
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurements and calculations
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as project demands
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
