Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including site preparation, excavation, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (forklifts, excavators) with precision and safety protocols
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with specialized tasks
- Maintain clean and organized job sites while adhering to OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications accurately
- Perform concrete pouring, framing, demolition, and finishing work
- Contribute to team efficiency through collaborative problem-solving
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction experience
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with power tools and construction equipment
- Strong understanding of construction safety regulations
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
