Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and framing with precision
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) and hand tools safely
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians) in project implementation
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per safety protocols
- Inspect materials for compliance with project specifications
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
- Read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience required
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shifts
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero tolerance for tardiness
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures (100°F+ summers)
